Claims.co.uk can reveal that the UK industry most in need of workers amid staff shortages is healthcare, with 69,399 job listings on Indeed in the last 14 days! More specifically, Claims.co.uk found that care workers are the most in-demand healthcare profession, with over 18,395 job listings alone.
The second most in need is the retail and wholesale industry, with 33,587 job listings available on Indeed in the same period. Product managers (6,734) and sales assistants (5,397), are the most in-demand jobs within this industry.
Following in third is human resources and staffing with 27,971 job listings waiting to be filled.
Amid the recent rail strike, the transportation and logistics industry also makes the top 15 placing 11th overall. Accumulating almost 5,000 job listings over the fortnight, this industry sees the biggest demand for large goods vehicle drivers (1,407) and delivery van drivers (678).
